Shopping On The Mall XML Data Feed Information

To ensure your products are listed in the Shopping On The Mall section of our directory, it is important to submit clean data. Encountering one error during the parsing of your XML data file may cause the process to stop and none of your products will be displayed. We have compiled a few notes and developed a few tools to help you in this process. • Create an XML file using the following structure:
  

  <mall_products>
  	<mall_product> (Create a product tag for each product)
  		<mall_adid>Required: Your Advertising ID</mall_aid>
  		<mall_group>Required: Family or Adult</mall_group>
  		<mall_url>Required: Unique Product URL (from your domain name)</mall_url>
  		<mall_image>Image File (170px width, 170px height, 30kb size)</mall_image>
  		<mall_title>Required: Product Name</mall_title>
  		<mall_model>Required: Model Number</mall_model>
  		<mall_sku>SKU Number</mall_sku>
  		<mall_price>Required: Price (US dollars; eg. 20.92)</mall_price>
  		<mall_manufacturer>Manufacturer Name</mall_manufacturer>
  		<mall_description>Required: Description of Product (html not allowed)</mall_description>
  		<mall_category>Required: Main Category ID (see list below)</mall_category>
  		<mall_subcategory>Required: Subcategory ID (see list below)</mall_subcategory>
  	</mall_product>
  </mall_products>

• Each tag must be listed even if you don't have data to list.
• We recommend using the category names we already have or you may request new category names. We reserve the right to combine categories as needed.
• Entries with missing required data will not be processed.
• Sponsors may only list products accessible on their respective domain name.
• Select up to 500 products from your website that you believe would be of interest to our visitors or select your best selling products.
• The XML file can be created dynamically. Consult your Website Administrator or contact us for a quote.
• Upload the file to the of root your server. You may enter the name of your XML file at the time of sponsorship, or send the name of the file to us later.
• Access your XML file from your browser to ensure the structure and tag values are accurate.
• Errors will cause the parsing process to stop. If this occurs, none of your products will be listed. Use this handy little tool to help identify errors.

• To further clean your data, use entity numbers everywhere possible and use W3Schools XML Syntax for guidance.
• Products are immediately active upon successfully parsing your XML file.
• You may update your XML file at any time for inclusion in our next update.
• If you only have services, with a little creative thinking you can submit your services using the same format above.
